Command School, Inc., to expand Now own the famous Abbottsville simulator Command School, Inc. is a new corporation that has been formed to provide high quality incident command and management training and information to municipal and industrial customers throughout the United States. The principal of Command School, Inc. is Glenn D. Usdin, who retired from his position as CEO of Northeast Fire Apparatus, Inc, the used fire apparatus division of American LaFrance fire apparatus. Mr. Usdin remains as a consultant to ALF. Mr. Usdin is also the fire chief in Lancaster Township, PA. Mr. Usdin and his executive assistant, Kendra Nealon, have opened up offices in Lancaster PA, and will continue to manage and direct the highly acclaimed Command School conferences around the country. In 2002, there are 8 conferences
scheduled, in Atlanta GA., Lancaster PA, Chicago IL, Cleveland OH, Nashua
NH, Kansas City MO, Louisville, KY and Orlando FL. Each year for the past
5 years, over 2,000 fire officers have attended Command School and learned
how to better manage and operate at the multitude of emergency incidents
that they respond to. The prestigious International Association of Fire
Chiefs, and Fire Chief Magazine, the magazine for progressive fire service
leaders, jointly co-sponsor the 2002 nationwide conference schedule.
