At 1547 hours on Thursday, February 12,
2004 units were dispatched to 1200 block of Windmill Lane, in Montgomery
County Maryland, for a report of a house fire.
Burtonsville Truck 15 arrived on the scene
and reported fire showing from the first and second floor in Quadrants
C and D of a two story detached dwelling and passed the command. |
 |
Burtonsville Engine 151 arrived shortly
behind Truck 15, laying dual three inch supply lines to Side A. Car 152
arrived on the scene and established the Windmill Command.
Engine 151 advanced an 1-3/4 inch attack
line through the front door and quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire
while Truck 15 opened up and the laddered the building. Primary and Secondary
searches were completed with negative results. |
 |
A safety dispatch and task force was requested
in addition to the original box alarm. Most of those units remained
in staging as the fire was held to the area involved upon arrival.
The cause of the fire was undetermined. |
