Delaware…Saturday 10 January 2004 at 0844 hours… Talleyville, Brandywine
Hundred, Claymont, Elsmere and Five Points Fire Companies were dispatched
to 33 Stone Tower Lane, Augustine Ridge for a working house fire with subject
trapped at 0844 hours. Upon his arrival Chief Tom Looney, (25-8) found
heavy fire and smoke emitting from the 3rd floor of the (4) four story
townhouse.
The fire quickly spread and additional
fire companies were requested to assist in the operation. Approximately
60 firefighters from Talleyville, Brandywine Hundred, Claymont, Elsmere,
Five Points Fire Companies were called into action.
Chief Tom Looney placed the fire under
control in approximately 45 minutes at 0924 hours. There is major
fire damaged to the (4) four story townhouse and it contents. No injuries
to the firefighters. The cause and origin are under investigation by the
Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office and ATF. |
