E151 was modified with equipment to be a Rescue Engine.  Includes rope rescue equipment, heavy extrication tools (diesel power plant with dual hydraulic lines), stokes basket, 9000lbs. winch, confined space equipment.
 
E151 is stationed in the center of the district and responds to all reported MVA's with extrication and any other technical rescues.
 
CRFD haqs a second engine with the same specs and the standard complement of equipment.
