Designed to fit into a 1920s era historical
fire house, Hose Company, Engine 9 of the Danbury, CT Fire Department features
a Hale Q-FLOW 1,250-GPM pump, cross lays for 1-1/2” trash line and 2” attack
lines, 4” Elkhart Scorpion gun, 500-gallon UPF tank, special Toyne 96”
wide Alleycat extruded aluminum body, polished stainless steel body trim
package, special HME SFO-TXL cab seating six, and Power Arc Trafficmaster
warning light system.
The unit is provided with a slide-in
ladder compartment on the right rear and RIT equipment compartment holding
back boards and a Stokes basket stretcher on the left and has a slide-out
rear step to keep the overall length below 25-feet. |
