Walk in Rescue  

The Avoca Fire Department took delivery of this EVI 16-Foot "Walk-In" canopy style rescue. The body is mounted on a Freightliner FL-70 chassis and houses (8) compartments accessed through heavy duty conventional doors. The compartments are equipped with a variety of shelves and trays for the storage of the department's equipment.  

Storage is provided for (14) spare air cylinders and a custom rack contains storage for (6) backboards and a stokes basket. The air conditioned "walk-in" area contains a squad bench with SCBA walkaway brackets and seating for (6) personnel. There's also (2) storage cabinets, a sloped command desk and (2) reel enclosure cabinets. 

Other features include: 

• An extended bumper with a 12,000 lb. winch
• (2) front mounted 1500 watt telescopic quartz lights
• (2) rear mounted 1500 watt tripod quartz lights
• (2) rear mounted recessed tow rings.
