This unit serves Hilton Head Island, SC, the second largest barrier island on the Atlantic Coast.  

 
Truck 6 handles regular fire operations and also serves as the initial response vehicle for all technical rescue incidents in our jurisdiction.  

The truck was refurbished by Northeast Fire Apparatus in 2000 and was placed into service in September 2000.
